Mountain View proved they can win big last Tuesday (they won by 11) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They won by a run and slipped past the Pioneer Titans 6-5. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Vikings have posted since March 22, 2024.

Leanna Ramirez was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She struck out six batters over seven innings while giving up four earned (and one unearned) runs off six hits. Ramirez was also big at the plate, scoring a run while going 3-for-4.
