Football Recap: Garber Comes Up Short

Garber was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were outmatched by the Swan Valley Vikings and fell 42-6. While losing is never fun, the Dukes can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan football rankings (they are ranked 285th, while the Vikings are ranked 47th).

Garber's loss dropped their record down to 2-3. As for Swan Valley, they pushed their record up to 4-1 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season.

Garber wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 48-8 defeat against Freeland on the 3rd. As for Swan Valley, they have also already played their next matchup, a 62-0 win against Bridgeport on the 3rd.
