Softball Recap: Chipley Tigers vs. Altha Wildcats

Chipley lost against Altha back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Chipley Tigers fell just short of the Altha Wildcats by a score of 4-3. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Chipley in their matchups with Altha: they've now lost three in a row.

Izabel Henderson made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole a base while going 3-for-4.

On Altha's side, Reagan Roberts spent all seven innings played on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three runs (all of which were unearned) on four hits. Roberts has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive pitching appearances.

At the plate, Kaylean Clowes was excellent, going 1-for-3 with three stolen bases.
