Basketball Recap: Polson's Losing Streak Snapped at Four Games

Polson came into Saturday's game having lost four straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They took down the Libby Loggers 66-50 on Saturday. For the Pirates, this counts as revenge for the 42-41 victory the Loggers walked away with the last time they faced one another back in February of 2024.

The win got Polson back to even at 4-4. As for Libby, they dropped their record down to 3-7 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Polson will venture away from home to take on Ronan at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Libby, they are taking a road trip to square off against Whitefish at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Libby is facing Whitefish at the right time seeing as Whitefish is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
