Basketball Recap: Ahoskie Christian Skates Past Bethel Christian with Ease

There's no place like home for Ahoskie Christian, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Thursday. They blew past Bethel Christian 79-51 on Monday.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Ahoskie Christian to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jaelen Rascoe, who went 14 of 29 to rack up 32 points along with six boards and five assists. The dominant performance also gave Rascoe a new career-high in blocks (five). Tyler Martin was another key player, going 11 for 19 on his way to 27 points in addition to six assists and five steals.

Ahoskie Christian is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 10-13 record this season. A key ingredient in that success has been their performance when it comes to three-point shooting accuracy: their three-point shooting accuracy was 35.9% in those games and 22.6% outside of them. As for Bethel Christian, they dropped their record down to 1-11 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight on the road.
