Herscher can bid farewell to their five-match losing streak thanks to their match on Tuesday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Reed-Custer Comets. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 back in September.

Herscher never let Reed-Custer on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 26-24.

Herscher's victory bumped their record up to 7-24. As for Reed-Custer, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 14 of their last 15 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-25 record this season.
