Football Game Preview: Argo Argonauts vs. Richards Bulldogs

Argo hasn't had much luck against Richards recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Argonauts will head out to challenge the Bulldogs at 6:30 p.m. Argo has given up an average of 39.6 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Argo is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They had to suffer through a 48-20 loss at the hands of Oak Lawn.

Meanwhile, Richards had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 10.5 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They claimed a resounding 49-20 victory over the Astros. That 29 point margin sets a new team best for the Bulldogs this season.

Richards' win bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Argo, their loss dropped their record down to 0-5.

Argo took a serious blow against Richards when the teams last played back in September of 2024, falling 41-0. Can the Argonauts avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
