Basketball Game Preview: Wallace County Wildcats vs. Dighton Hornets

The Wallace County Wildcats are taking a road trip to challenge the Dighton Hornets at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Wallace County is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt wants to keep things rolling.

On Tuesday, Wallace County was fully in charge, breezing past Weskan 55-22. The score at the end of the third wound up being the final score as the Wildcats just coasted through the last quarter.

Meanwhile, Dighton was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Tuesday as they fell 38-33 to LaCrosse. The matchup marked the Hornets' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Wallace County's victory was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-0. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 27 points. As for Dighton, their loss dropped their record down to 3-2.

Wallace County strolled past Dighton when the teams last played back in March by a score of 62-48. Does Wallace County have another victory up their sleeve, or will Dighton turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
