Basketball Recap: Eastside's Luck Changes for the Better on Saturday

Eastside won the last time they faced Rye Cove and things went their way on Saturday too. The Eastside Spartans came out on top against the Rye Cove Eagles by a score of 56-45. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Spartans as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

The victory got Eastside back to even at 3-3. As for Rye Cove, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Eastside will head out to square off against Lebanon at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Rye Cove, they will head out on the road to take on Lee at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
