Soccer Game Preview: Sycamore vs. Milford

The Sycamore Aviators will head out to face off against the Milford Eagles at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.

Sycamore is headed into Saturday's contest following a draw, the team's first since September 9. Neither they nor Fairfield could gain the upper hand on Thursday so the two teams had to settle for a 1-1 draw.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Milford, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They blew past Loveland 3-0 on Tuesday. The victory was a breath of fresh air for Milford as it put an end to their three-match losing streak.

Milford's win bumped their record up to 6-4-4. With that draw, Sycamore's record moves to 9-4-2.

Sycamore skirted past Milford 3-2 when the teams last played back in October of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Aviators since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
