Ramsay's victory bumped their record up to 5-3. As for John Carroll Catholic, their loss dropped their record down to 5-3-4.

Everything went John Carroll Catholic's way against Ramsay in their previous matchup back in March, as John Carroll Catholic made off with a 10-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Cavaliers since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
