Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only St. Stanislaus walked away with it. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Southeast Lauderdale Tigers a 9-0 shutout on Friday. Wiley Mossy was incredible, going 2-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in March. The team also got some help courtesy of Jackson Orozco, who went 1-for-2 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.

St. Stanislaus was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .385. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .350 or higher in four consecutive contests.

St. Stanislaus' record now sits at 17-9. As for Southeast Lauderdale, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 19-11.
