Softball Recap: Los Fresnos' Win on Friday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Los Fresnos waltzed into their matchup on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Rio Hondo Bobcats, sneaking past 7-5. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Falcons have posted since February 14th.

Alexis Perez was incredible, going 1-for-2 with three RBI, one triple, and one stolen base. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in March of 2024. Harmony Moore was another key player, going 1-for-4 with one triple, one stolen base, and one run.

Los Fresnos' record is now 9-6-1. As for Rio Hondo, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Los Fresnos will head out to take on Raymondville at 11:00 a.m. on Monday. As for Rio Hondo, they are taking a road trip to face off against Hanna at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
