Baseball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Amador

Amador waltzed into their game on Wednesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. Everything went their way against the Galt Warriors as they made off with a 10-4 win. The Buffaloes might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five matches by six runs or more this season.

Brad Blankenheim was incredible, going a perfect 4-for-4 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one triple. He is becoming a predictor of Amador's success: when he posts at least three hits the team is undefeated (and 3-7-1 when he doesn't). The team also got some help courtesy of Johnny Melton, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-4.

Amador was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .424. The last time their batting average was this high was back in April of 2024.

The victory got Amador back to even at 7-7-1. As for Galt, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-7.

Amador will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Warriors: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
