Basketball Game Preview: Robinson Senators vs. Clinton Yellowjackets

The Robinson Senators will face off against the Clinton Yellowjackets at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, both will really light up the scoreboard.

Robinson is probably headed into the game with a chip on their shoulder considering Morrilton just ended the team's 12-game winning streak on Friday. They took a 67-59 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Devil Dogs.

Meanwhile, Clinton waltzed into their contest on Friday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They blew past the Mustangs, posting a 73-45 win. Given the Yellowjackets' advantage in MaxPreps' Arkansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 45th, while the Mustangs are ranked 198th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Clinton is also on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 11-7 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.5 points per game. As for Robinson, their defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 14-6.
