            Sports & Medical Sciences Academy has gone  a perfect 9-0 against Classical Magnet recently and they'll look to pad the win column further  on Monday. The Tigers will head out on the road to  challenge  the Gladiators  at 4:30  p.m. Classical Magnet took a loss in their last  matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Sports & Medical Sciences Academy, who comes in off a win.
On Friday, Sports & Medical Sciences Academy earned  a  3-1 win over Hartford Magnet Trinity College Academy.
 Sports & Medical Sciences Academy walked away with the   victory (and looked especially good in the first set). The final score came out to 25-14, 25-20, 20-25,  25-19.

 Valerie Santiago was the offensive standout of the  match as she  had ten  digs and nine  aces. Those  nine  aces gave  her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was  Chantel Ramos, who  had five  aces.
 They weren't the only good servers: Sports & Medical Sciences Academy  was lethal from the service line and  finished the match with 23  aces. They are 5-1 when  they serve at least ten aces.
Meanwhile, Classical Magnet was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight  loss  dating back to last season. They came up short against  Prince RVT, falling  3-0.
 Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-16,  25-16.
 The  win  got Sports & Medical Sciences Academy back to even at 5-5. As for Classical Magnet, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.
 Sports & Medical Sciences Academy took their  victory against Classical Magnet  when the teams last played  back in September of 2019 by a conclusive  3-0 score. Will the Tigers repeat their success,  or do  the Gladiators have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
