Baseball Game Preview: Fenwick Friars vs. St. Francis Spartans

For the second straight game, Fenwick will face off against St. Francis. The Friars will square off against the Spartans at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Fenwick has given up an average of 6.7 runs per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Fenwick managed to slip by St. Francis the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Friars came up short against the Spartans on Monday, falling 14-4. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Friars have suffered since April 26th.

Jeremy Munoz made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI.

The victory was the 18th in a row for St. Francis, bringing their record up to 22-3. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games. As for Fenwick, they moved to 13-13-1 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.
