Volleyball Recap: Three Straight Road Wins for Kiowa

Kiowa's game on Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over Strasburg. For Kiowa, this counts as revenge for the 3-1 victory Strasburg walked away with the last time they faced one another back in September of 2019.

While Kiowa might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Strasburg scored at least 19 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 21-25, 25-23, 25-19.

Kiley Kuhn paced Kiowa's offense, picking up 12 kills. Kuhn got some help from Rylee Wyer and her 29 assists. Wyer was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Kiowa's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-8. As for Strasburg, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-16.

Kiowa wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against The Academy on the 1st. As for Strasburg, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against St. Mary's Academy on the 1st.
