Recap: Nicolet Knights vs. St. Thomas More Cavaliers
After a string of four wins, the Nicolet Knights's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They took a 86-82 hit to the loss column at the hands of St. Thomas More. Despite running the score up even higher than they did on Thursday (77), Nicolet still had to take the loss.
Nicolet lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being David Bolden, who scored 16 points along with five assists. The matchup was Bolden's third in a row with at least ten points. Matthew Mckay was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with eight rebounds.
Nicolet's defeat dropped their record down to 6-3. As for St. Thomas More, their win bumped their record up to 9-2.
Nicolet will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Slinger at 7:00 p.m. on January 5th. Slinger is coming into the contest on a four-game losing streak. As for St. Thomas More, they will be playing at home against Kettle Moraine Lutheran at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday.
