Softball Recap: Ida Comes Up Short

Ida was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 9-6 to the Clinton Redwolves. The Bluestreaks were not able to make up for their defeat to the Redwolves from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

Ida got a big performance out of Reese Hennessey, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs. Karlee Walentowski was another key player, going 2-for-3 with three RBI.

Ida's record now sits at 2-4. As for Clinton, their record is now 6-2.

Coming up, Ida will venture away from home to square off against Napoleon at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Clinton, they will welcome Northwest at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
