Softball Recap: Las Plumas Comes Up Short

Las Plumas lost against Roseville back in April of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Thunderbirds took a 6-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Tigers. The Thunderbirds have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lexi Hobbs was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 4-for-4 with one stolen base and two RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Adriana Heredia, who scored two runs while going 1-for-3.

Las Plumas' loss dropped their record down to 18-3. As for Roseville, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-7.

Coming up, Las Plumas will take on Orland at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Trojans will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something the Thunderbirds surely won't give up without a fight. As for Roseville, they will challenge Pleasant Valley at 12:20 p.m. on Tuesday.
