Basketball Game Preview: Montbello Warriors vs. Hinkley Thunder

The Montbello Warriors will challenge the Hinkley Thunder at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Having struggled with five losses in a row, Montbello turned things around against Hinkley on Saturday. They claimed a resounding 55-10 victory over the Thunder. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Warriors have posted since December 7, 2024.

Montbello can attribute much of their success to Juanita Dixon, who went 7 of 12 on her way to 22 points, and Yaretzi Barraza, who posted ten points. That's the most points Dixon has posted since back in December of 2024.

Montbello's victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-12. As for Hinkley, they are on a 31-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-13.
