Baseball Recap: Ceres Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Ceres can now relate to. They took a 9-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of the West Park Panthers on Wednesday.

Ceres saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Carson Ulrich, who went 2-for-4 with one run and one RBI.

Ceres' defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 19-9. As for West Park, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 16 of their last 18 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-6 record this season.

Ceres does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for West Park, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 10-9 win against Manteca on the 9th.
