Football Recap: Hershey Piles Up the Points Against Northern York

Hershey had won three straight on the road, but on Friday they bumped up to 6-2 to make it four. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Northern York Polar Bears 42-14. Considering the Trojans have won three games by more than 19 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Cameron Sweeney produced another solid performance throwing for 233 yards and two TDs on only 18 passes, while also punching in a pair of scores on the ground. Those 233 passing yards gave him a new career-high.

Hershey didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Sweeney and Bryan Maduena. Sweeney got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

As for Northern York, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-8. That's two games in a row now that they have lost by exactly 28 points.

Although Northern York took the loss, they still got scores from Cash Keck and Tristan Wenrich.

Looking ahead, Hershey will take on Mechanicsburg at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Wildcats' defense has only allowed 10.1 points per game this season, so the Trojans' offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Northern York, they will challenge Shippensburg at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
