Northmont had already won three in a row and they went ahead and made it four on Thursday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Wayne Warriors. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 back in September.

Northmont's offense was headlined by Jadyn Johnson and Ryleigh Hardwick, who picked up 14 kills apiece. They got some help from Brianna Abels and her 37 assists. She also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Maddie Hoff, each putting up three.

Northmont's victory bumped their record up to 12-9. As for Wayne, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-14.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. Northmont will venture away from home to challenge Monroe at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Wayne, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Centerville at 6:00 p.m. on the 22nd.
