Baseball Recap: Lenoir City Takes a Loss

The Lenoir City Panthers came up short against the Eagleville Eagles on Thursday, falling 12-4. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lenoir City saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Isaac Dye, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-4.

Lenoir City's defeat dropped their record down to 4-14. As for Eagleville, their win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 14-1.

While Lenoir City had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
