Softball Recap: East Hall Vikings vs. Monroe Area Purple Hurricanes
It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact East Hall can now relate to. They lost 8-0 to the Monroe Area Purple Hurricanes on Thursday. The shutout was out of character for the Vikings seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in September.
East Hall's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 14-18. As for Monroe Area, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten games, which provided a nice bump to their 23-9 record this season.
As of now, neither East Hall nor Monroe Area have any future games scheduled.
