Volleyball Recap: Potosi Chieftains vs. Fennimore Golden Eagles        
        
		
             Potosi was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight  defeat. They fell  2-0 to the Fennimore Golden Eagles. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Chieftains of the  2-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture  back in September of 2023.
 Potosi may have fallen short, but they were sure consistent: they scored 16 points in every single set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16,  25-16.
 When it comes to explaining why Potosi lost, don't look at  Lillie Cooley. Despite the final result, she  had six  digs and four  blocks. That's the most  blocks  Cooley has posted since  two weeks ago.
 Fennimore found their leader in underclassman  Kaylie Czaplewski, who  had 11  digs. Czaplewski has been hot recently, having  posted 11 or more  digs the last three times she's  played.
 Potosi's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Fennimore,  the  victory made it two in a row for them and  bumps their season record up to 4-5.
 Potosi will face off against Fennimore at 1:30  p.m.  on Saturday. As for Fennimore, they will be staying on the road  on Saturday to face off against Lancaster at 9:30  a.m.
