Recap: Parrish Community Bulls vs. Braden River Pirates        
        
		
            
 It was a good run, but  the Parrish Community Bulls unfortunately witnessed the end of their  six-game winning streak on Friday. They took a  49-42 hit to the loss column at the hands of Braden River. While losing is never fun, Parrish Community can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage  in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings  (they are ranked 267th, while Braden River is ranked 116th).
  Malakai Cuffy and  Dylan Higgins certainly did their best on Friday to try and avoid the loss.  Cuffy  scored 15 points along with three  steals, while  Higgins  scored 18 points. Cuffy is on a roll when it comes to  steals, as he's  now  grabbed two or more in the last six games he's  played.
 Braden River's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was   Jacobi Murray, who  scored 12 points. Another player making a difference was  Marcus Schade, who  scored 13 points.
 Parrish Community's defeat  ended  a  six-game streak of wins at home  and  dropped them to 14-6. As for Braden River, they have  been performing  well recently as they've  won four of their last five contests,  which provided a nice bump to their 13-6 record this season.
 Parrish Community will head out on the road to  face off against  Saint Stephen's Episcopal at 7:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Saint Stephen's Episcopal has now lost eight straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 28. As for Braden River, they will look to defend their home court  on Tuesday against Southeast at 7:30  p.m. Southeast and Braden River are at an even 5-5 over their past ten head-to-heads.
