Volleyball Recap: Amherst County's Win on Monday Extends Winning Streak to Three + How To Watch

Amherst County took a three-set loss the last time they faced off against Glass, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Lancers skirted past the Hilltoppers 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Lancers have posted against the Hilltoppers since September 13, 2022.

Amherst County was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. The match finished with set scores of 21-25, 25-23, 13-25, 25-20, 15-6.

Glass' loss on Monday came despite strong showings from Elleri Turille and Aubri Willis. Turille had seven digs, four aces, and two blocks, while Willis had 21 kills and three digs. Willis has been hot for a while, having posted six or more kills the last 37 times she's played.
