Saucon Valley has gone a perfect 9-0 against Bangor recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Panthers will be playing at home against the Slaters at 4:00 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Saucon Valley took a loss when they played away from home on Thursday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Monday. They had just enough and edged out Moravian Academy 9-8. It was an even better day for Elliot Policare as she scored three goals for her team.

Meanwhile, Bangor kept a clean sheet against Catasauqua on Monday. They put the hurt on the Rough Riders with a sharp 10-0 win. The final result isn't all that surprising considering Bangor's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania soccer rankings (they are ranked 96th, while Catasauqua are ranked 370th).

The victory made it two in a row for Bangor and bumps their season record up to 13-2-1. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 14 goals over those two contests. As for Saucon Valley, their victory bumped their record up to 10-2.

Saucon Valley took their win against Bangor when the teams last played back in October of 2024 by a conclusive 7-1 score. Will the Panthers repeat their success, or do the Slaters have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
