Volleyball Recap: Immaculata-La Salle's Win on Monday Extends Winning Streak to Three + How To Watch

Immaculata-La Salle had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Monday. They blew past the IMater Charter Knights 3-0. The Royal Lions not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since September 3rd (when they won 3-0).

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Immaculata-La Salle took every set by at least ten points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-8, 25-10, 25-15.

Mia Groom paced Immaculata-La Salle's offense, picking up eight kills. Groom got some help from Sofia Dean and her 13 assists. Dean also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Sofia Rosales, each putting up three.

Immaculata-La Salle now has a winning record of 10-9. As for iMater Charter, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-7 record this season.

Coincidentally, Immaculata-La Salle and iMater Charter will both be playing Sports Leadership & Management the next time they take the court. The Royal Lions will host Sports Leadership & Management at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, while the Knights will head out to face them at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
