Basketball Recap: Jac-Cen-Del Takes a Loss

Jac-Cen-Del lost against Batesville last Wednesday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Jac-Cen-Del Eagles fell 64-56 to the Batesville Bulldogs. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Batesville to victory, but perhaps none more so than Kamryn Holcomb, who went 6 for 8 en route to 17 points. The dominant performance gave Holcomb a new career-high in points. Cade Kaiser was another key player, going 6 of 7 on his way to 15 points and four blocks.

Jac-Cen-Del's defeat dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Batesville, their win bumped their record up to 5-7.

Jac-Cen-Del has already played their next matchup, a 41-40 loss against Waldron on the 18th. As for Batesville, they will take on Franklin County at 7:30 p.m. on January 24th.
