Keys Gate is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. They blew past Archbishop Carroll 9-3.
Jaime Osorio tossed a big game, striking out 12 batters over 6.2 innings while giving up three earned runs off eight hits (and not a single walk). Those 12 strikeouts gave him a new career-high.

At the plate, Keys Gate saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jose Bermudez, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3. Those two hits gave Bermudez a new career-high.
Meanwhile, Coral Shores earned a 9-4 win over Mater Bay Academy on Tuesday. The Hurricanes haven't had any issues with the Rays recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.
Riley OBerry made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he pitched three innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one double.
In other batting news, Coral Shores got a massive performance out of AJ Putetti, who went 2-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one double. That triple marked the first that Putetti hit this season. Another player making a difference was Maykol Bonito, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-3.
Keys Gate's win bumped their record up to 8-13. As for Coral Shores, their victory bumped their record up to 18-3-1.
Keys Gate came out on top in a nail-biter against Coral Shores when the teams last played back in February, sneaking past 8-7. Do the Knights have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Hurricanes turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
