Volleyball Recap: East River Takes a Loss + How To Watch

East River lost against University back in September of 2019 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Falcons lost 3-0 to the Titans. The Falcons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

East River took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-16, 25-20.

Despite the loss, East River still got an impressive performance from Bella Seals, who had 30 digs. Sadie Worner was another key player, getting nine digs.

University got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Keira Dickens out in front who had nine digs and six assists. That's the most assists Dickens has posted since back in September of 2024.

East River now has a losing record of 11-12. As for University, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-8.

East River wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-1 win against Tohopekaliga on the 9th. As for University, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Deltona on the 9th.
