Salem Hills waltzed into their match on Saturday with 12 straight wins... but they left with 13. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Enterprise Wolves a 17-0 shutout. The Skyhawks might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine games by seven runs or more this season.

Jocile Norman made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Leila Stevenson, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI. That's the most runs she has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Emmery Wilson, who scored two runs while going 2-for-2.

Salem Hills kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 16 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in six consecutive contests.

Salem Hills' win bumped their record up to 16-1. As for Enterprise, with the defeat, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 13-7.

Salem Hills has already played their next matchup, a 17-2 victory against Manti on the 12th. As for Enterprise, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 21-1 loss against Maple Mountain on the 12th.
