Soccer Recap: Pomona vs. Conifer
Pomona was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They came up short against the Conifer Lobos, falling 9-1. Things were pretty much settled by the half as the Panthers were already down 5-0.
Pomona's defeat dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Conifer, their victory bumped their record up to 4-5.
A feisty cat fight will be fought when Panthers takes on Lions at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Littleton's last three games have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Conifer, their homestand will continue as they prepare to take on D'Evelyn at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. D'Evelyn will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Conifer surely won't give up without a fight.
