Baseball Recap: Taft Tigers vs. Burns Hilanders
Taft had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They never let the Burns Hilanders onto the board and left with a 1-0 victory on Monday. Winning may never get old, but Taft sure is getting used to it with their third in a row.
Taft's win was truly a team effort as three different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Jj McCormick, who went 2-for-2 with an RBI.
Taft's victory was their ninth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 16-7. As for Burns, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-14.
Taft didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 9-5 loss vs. Pleasant Hill on the 22nd. Burns does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
