Baseball Recap: West Central Wins Going Away Against Attica

West Central never got on the board in their matchup on Friday, but that sure wasn't the case in their game against Attica on Saturday. They were the clear victors by a 17-2 margin over the Red Ramblers.

Teagan Holle was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run while striking out nine over five innings pitched. Holle was also big at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 4-for-5. Holle is crushing it when it comes to stolen bases: he's snagged at least one every time he's taken the field this season.

In other batting news, Zane Wall was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 3-for-4. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in RBI (two). Addison Huber was another key player, scoring a run while going 2-for-3.

West Central always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .615. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Attica only posted an OBP of .304.

West Central now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Attica, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1-1.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Red Ramblers beat West Central by a score of 15-5 later that day.
