Basketball Recap: McCurtain Comes Up Short

McCurtain was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 47-36 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Canadian Cougars. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 43-29 back in December of 2024.

McCurtain's loss dropped their record down to 13-11. As for Canadian, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 13-7 record this season.

As of now, neither McCurtain nor Canadian have any future games scheduled.
