Ellington won the last time they faced Greenville, and Tayleigh Cowin did her part to make sure it happened again. The Whippets came out on top against the Bears by a score of 2-0 on Saturday for which the team can thank Cowin, who had three digs and three aces. She has been hot for a while, having also posted 16 or more assists the last 18 times she's played.

Ellington has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-2-1 record this season. As for Greenville, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-6-1.

Ellington wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Risco on the 13th. As for Greenville, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against South Iron on the 13th.
