It was a good run, but Wenatchee unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Friday. They lost 12-3 to the West Valley Rams. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Panthers of the 21-8 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2024.

Autumn Sutherland made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one home run and three RBI. That home run was her first of the season.

Wenatchee's defeat dropped their record down to 10-9. As for West Valley, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-8 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: West Valley beat Wenatchee by a score of 13-3 later that day.
