C District 3 (8 Man) recap October 22, 2013

Timberlake was able to crack the Top 25 in the state rankings this week after besting Kremlin-Hillsdale. The Tigers came in at 24 in the state poll after placing at number 26 last week.

Cherokee added to the longest winning streak in C District 3 (8 Man) this week by beating Deer Creek, 46-0. The win marks sixth in a row for the the Chiefs.

Bluejacket's offense cannot be tamed this season and the Chieftains feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Austin Stoner has thrown for 357 yards and 4 touchdowns this season, while Pete Mcvay has 10 catches for 230 yards. Stoner also leads the league in rushing with 714 yards.

A big matchup in the league this week will be when Bluejacket takes on the Broncs. As it stands, the Chieftains are in second, while Kremlin-Hillsdale is in fourth.

Timberlake made the biggest leap in the national rankings this week, rising to 405 from 470. The improvement was largely due to a 45-12 victory over the Broncs last week.
