Basketball Recap: Whippany Park Falls to Academy of St. Elizabeth in First Game of Season

Whippany Park unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They took a 31-22 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Academy of St. Elizabeth Panthers on Tuesday. The loss continues a trend for the Wildcats in their matchups with the Panthers: they've now lost nine in a row.

Whippany Park will head out on the road to challenge Kinnelon at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Academy of St. Elizabeth will take on Parsippany in a holiday battle at at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
