June Buchanan took a three-set defeat the last time they faced off against Jenkins, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Crusaders narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Cavaliers 3-2. The game was the first time the Crusaders have beaten the Cavaliers on their court since September 18, 2020.

June Buchanan is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-13 record this season. As for Jenkins, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last eight matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-10 record this season.
