Volleyball Recap: Liberty Christian Comes Up Short

Liberty Christian's tournament run continued when they took on Fountain Central on Saturday. The Lions took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Mustangs. The Lions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

While Liberty Christian had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 18 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-19.

Liberty Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Fountain Central, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-11.

Liberty Christian has already played their next matchup, a 3-1 win against Purdue Broad Ripple on the 22nd. As for Fountain Central, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Frankfort on the 22nd.
