FAMU DRS extended their losing streak to ten on Monday, dropping their season record down to 2-14 in the process. They lost 18-3 to the Rickards Raiders. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Raiders this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 19-4 back in February.

As for Rickards, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-10. The result was nothing new for the Raiders, who have now won eight matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

For Rickards' part, Sheyenne Holmes was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching four innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off three hits. Holmes was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last six games she's played.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Aiyanna Garcia, who went 2-for-4 with five stolen bases, three RBI, and two runs. Those two runs gave her a new career-high. Brookyln Schimek was another key player, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with two stolen bases and two runs.

Coming up, FAMU DRS will face off against St. John Paul II at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Rickards, they will take on Taylor County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
