Football Recap: Hope Takes a Loss

Hope lost against Parkview back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Bobcats were outmatched by the Patriots and fell 64-7. The game marked the Bobcats' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Austin Courtney threw for 106 yards and one touchdown. Jaiden Brown was his top target, picking up 81 receiving yards.

Hope is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5. As for Parkview, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-3.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Hope will face off against rival Lakeside at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Parkview is set to take on their familiar foe Arkansas at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
