Softball Recap: Boyne Falls Comes Up Short

Boyne Falls was the 16-3 winner over Forest Area when they last played one another back in April, but their luck changed this time around. The Loggers might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 17-1 to the Warriors, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Loggers' loss continues a trend for the team, making it five in a row.

Boyne Falls' defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Forest Area, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-9.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Boyne Falls will square off against Wolverine at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Forest Area, they will face off against Pellston at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
