Basketball Game Preview: Ropes Eagles vs. Jacksboro Tigers

The Ropes Eagles will be taking part in a tournament against the Jacksboro Tigers at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday. Ropes will be looking to extend their current nine-game winning streak.

Last Tuesday, Ropes blew past Morton, posting a 64-16 victory. The Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight matches by 20 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, after a string of four wins, Jacksboro's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They fell just short of Bowie by a score of 44-42.

Jacksboro's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-6. As for Ropes, they pushed their record up to 15-4 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road.

Ropes was able to grind out a solid victory over Jacksboro when the teams last played back in December of 2017, winning 42-35. Will Ropes repeat their success, or does Jacksboro have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
